THOMAS ALLEN

Thomas E. Allen, died Monday, November 19, 2018.  He was born in Neenah on December 28, 1954.

Tom graduated from Neenah High School in 1973 and received an engineering degree from Fox Valley Technical College, graduating with honors.  He worked as a master carpenter in California for over 20 years before returning to Wisconsin where he continued to leverage his experience designing roofing systems for custom homes.

Tom loved his Dobermans and he was an avid fan of Wisconsin sports, particularly his beloved Brewers.  He greatly enjoyed attending games in person as well as watching on television.  As a child he had an infectious laugh and as an adult he always brought wry wit to a gathering.  Tom was fun loving, generous, humble and friendly but private and he will be missed.

Tom is survived by his mother, Donna Allen, Neenah; a sister, Kristine (Walter) Peppler, of Madison; and a brother, Timothy (Stacy) Allen, of Waukesha.  Tom enjoyed his 7 nieces and nephews and their children, graciously tolerating the chaos they brought to family gatherings.  He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Allen.

A Celebration of Tom's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Fuller officiating.  The visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
