KATIE PETERSON

Katie L. Peterson, age 22, of Appleton passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a brief, sudden illness.  She was born on April 4, 1996 in Portage, Wisconsin, daughter of Mark A. and Ruthann (Galarza) Peterson.  She graduated from Lake Mills High School in 2014, and was currently continuing her education in Health Care at Fox Valley Technical College.  Katie was employed by St. Elizabeth Hospital.  Katie was a bubbly young lady, she had a zest for life, and was enthusiastic about the great outdoors.  She loved to work out at the gym, care for people, and time spent with family and friends.  Her kind spirit will be truly missed by those who loved her.

She will be sadly missed by her parents: Mark and Ruth; brothers: Nicholas Peterson, Appleton; Justin Peterson, Nashville, TN; Kevin Peterson, Appleton; Danny Peterson, Appleton; her grandmother, Lavonn Galarza, Beaver Dam; boyfriend, Marcus Feucht, Mayville; her pets, Pip and Picky; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Gerald and Yvonne Peterson, Jose Galarza.

The Funeral Service for Katie will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Church (226 Washington Street, Menasha) with Rev. Ralph Osborne officiating.  Friends will be greeted AT THE CHURCH on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Katie's name may be given to the Nursing Association Endowed Scholarship at Fox Valley Technical College.
