LILLIAN RENNER

Lillian I. Renner, age 95, died December 4, 2018 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah. She was born February 17, 1923 in Greenville, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Emory and Lillian (Bleick) Meltz. She graduated from Appleton West High School and Miss Brown's Business College, Milwaukee. She then worked at UCLA during WWII as a secretary assisting with the war effort. She married Jack E. Renner on August 7, 1948 and was employed by Gilbert Paper and Kimberly Clark. Lillian was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for 70 years and had been a Sunday school teacher, circle leader, and Deacon. She was an active member of the Red Cross, the Women's Tuesday Club, and Presbyterian Women's Society.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Jack E. Renner; one daughter, Jane Shipman of Oshkosh; two sons: Jack G. (Barbara) Renner of Neenah; and James B. (Sally) Renner of Cambria; three grandchildren: Jackson (Jori) Renner; John (Emily) Shipman; and Ashley (Domagoj) Papac; as well as three great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kermit Meltz; sisters: Olive Schroeder and Verdaine Weber; and by son-in-law, Jay Shipman.

A memorial service for Lillian will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 13 in the Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Church St., Neenah, with Rev. Paul Huxtable officiating. A visitation will be held at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
