LINDA EMENECKER

Lyn Emenecker, age 70, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, following a brief illness.  She was born September 5, 1948, in Japan, daughter of the late Lee and Becky (Heilman) Armstrong. 

Lyn married Greg Emenecker on February 15, 1992 at First English Lutheran Church in Appleton.

Lyn grew up in Milwaukee and attended UW-Milwaukee, moving to Appleton in 1979.  She was an Executive Secretary for many years working for AZCO, Fleet Farm and Presto Products, until her retirement. 

Lyn enjoyed a good glass of Cabernet.  She liked art work, gourmet cooking, being outdoors in warm weather, and especially her dogs, Sam and Mozzie.  She loved her family and friends, and considered herself the luckiest person in the world.

Survivors include her husband, Greg; her daughter, Michelle Galle; her step-son, Scott (Tabitha) Emenecker; two grandchildren: Ethan and Jack Emenecker; her sister, Pat (Tim) Christianson; her nephew, Dan (Sue) Christianson; and her niece, Lee-Ann Christianson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 17, 2018, at First English Lutheran Church, 326 E. North St., Appleton, with Rev. Mary Bauer officiating.  The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for St. Joseph Food Pantry.
