Obituary
Margaret A. “Peggy” (Blair) Schedgick, age 88, passed away on December 26th at Apple Creek Place Memory Care Facility.
She was born in Neenah, WI on October 30, 1932, daughter of Adolf and Myrtle Blair.
Peggy met her husband, Chester, while working at Woolworths Dime Store. She was set up on a blind date on Christmas Eve, 1950, through a coworker who was Chester's sister. They were married the following April 26, 1951.
Peggy and Chester lived and raised their children in the Neenah/Menasha area until Chester's passing in June of 1994. Together their interests were gardening, cooking, putting puzzles together, playing games, hosting family picnics, and taking vacations. Christmas was always their favorite time of year because of the family time they would get to have.
Peggy remained in her home in Menasha, along with her son, Chris, where they cared for and enjoyed Chester's flower gardens and continued with hosting family gatherings, until Chris relocated out of state. She stayed in her home until she was unable to take care of the home by herself. Peggy then moved in with her son, Thomas, and his wife Dawn, for two years until her Alzheimer's disease progressed and she needed extra care. She then was moved to Apple Creek Place Memory Care, where she passed.
Peggy is survived by her children: Michael (Colleen); Thomas (Dawn); Julie (special friend Dale); Christopher; Sara (Jay) Smith; by her brother, Louis Blair; and by 16 grandchildren: Moriah (Clarence) Walker; Becky (Jason) Sonnleitner; Vicki (Todd) Schmidt; Caleb; Elsah (Roger) Payne; Dyenna (Ben) O'Conner; Fritha (Matt) Meyer; Jessica (Mike) Haessly; Tereena Basler; Jocelyn Harvell; Ron Jr. (Jill) Basler; Joy (special friend Zach) Harvell; Petrea (Ethan) Dorn; Dorabian; Jayson; and Giovanni.
