Obituary
Susan M. Hankin passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She was born August 14,1933 in St. Paul, Minnesota, daughter of Richard and Edith (Schwartz) Bartusch. Susan attended school in St. Paul and later Stevens College and U. of Missouri, Kansas City. In March 1962 she married Irvin Hankin and together they had 3 children. Susan liked nature and was long-time member of Mosquito Hill Nature Center, serving as the editor on its newsletter for several years. She enjoyed birdwatching and with her husband traveled to many places to see new and different birds. Susan also loved reading, especially non-fiction, and was a member of the Y T & F Book Club for many years.
She is survived by her husband, her children Rachel (Atom) Wolff, Jonathan (Raphael), Claudia, two granddaughters and many nephews and nieces. She will be dearly missed.
Per her request no services will be held. In Susan's loving memory, memorial donations to Friends of Mosquito Hill are appreciated.
