PHILLIP ANDERSON

Phillip J. Anderson, 62, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019.

Born in Neenah to the late Eyner and Blanche Anderson. Phil graduated from Neenah High School. Phil began his career with his teaching degree and then BSN (nursing degree) from UW Oshkosh and working at Theda Clark and many great years at Aspirus Wausau ER from which he retired. He will be remembered by many for his dedication to his work. He was a wonderful mentor, educator and dear friend to many.

Phil was married to Bonnie for 22 years. Phil enjoyed adventures to the second hand stores for old time treasures and rare goods. He always looked forward to the Sturgeon spearing season with his son. Outdoor activities were favorite times spent with family and friends. He also enjoyed NPR, Wild West books and flicks, history programs, and British comedies.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, son Paul (Melissa) Anderson, daughters Merissa (Aaron) Hemgren and Alicia Anderson, step-children Scott, Shannen and Erin. Phil is further survived by his siblings Diane, Mary (Mark) Gomm, David (Kathy) Anderson, and Caroline (Kurt) Strutz, as well as uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah, from 4pm to 7pm.
