Obituary

Lander “Orlando” Melvin Coleman, Jr., 58, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 29, 1961 in Troy Hill, New Jersey, the son of the late Lander Sr. and Maria (Del-Rio) Coleman.
Orlando married Connie Kundinger on April 24, 1999 in Appleton.
Orlando worked as a chef at various local restaurants over the years. He loved to talk about the ingredients and recipes he favored, as well as cooking for those he loved and visiting new restaurants to try new dishes.
Orlando enjoyed visiting churches to marvel at the architecture and learn about each building's history. He also loved watching cartoons and the history channel, making people happy, and seeing people smile. Orlando will be remembered for being quick to smile or laugh, and a master storyteller who would relay vivid details that enthralled his listeners.
Orlando was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton.
Survivors include his wife, Connie of 20 years; mother-in-law, Ann Kundinger; sister-in-law, Michele (Robert) Seitz; brother-in-law Daniel (Megan) Kundinger; nieces Taylor and Emma Kundinger, and Miranda Seitz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, David Kundinger; and beloved cat, Baby.
Due to current state mandates regarding restrictions on social gatherings, the family will announce a celebration of Orlando's life at a later date.
Thank you to emergency personnel, Fox Crossing Police Department and Westgor Funeral Home for professional, caring assistance during this difficult time.
