Obituary
Volney L. Roesler, age 86 of Menasha, passed away early Thursday, July 21, 2016. He was born May 14, 1930 to the late Willard and Evelyn (Huebner) Roesler and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Volney enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Fremont, as well as traveling to Canada for fishing and moose hunting. He also loved bowling and playing a good game of Cribbage, as well as volunteering a lot of his time to St. Joe's and The Good Samaritan Rescue. Hi favorite time was spent with this many beloved dogs over the years.
Volney will be missed by his sisters and brothers: Carlyn L. Pingel; Nona M. Kyle; James I. Roesler; Jerome W. (Katherine) Roesler; and Danny (Helen) Roesler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Susan Roesler; and two brothers-in-law: Earl Pingel and William Kyle.
The funeral service for Volney will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1750 Midway Rd., Menasha. Visitation will be held at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Burial will be in Dale Union Cemetery.
