MARGARET PITTS

Margaret C. Pitts, age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Grand Horizons - Cherryvale, in Appleton. She was born March 30, 1935 in Chicago, daughter of the late William and Catherine (Jackson) Altendorf. Margaret married Robert Pitts on June 11, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2003. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie (David) Naleway; two granddaughters: Jennifer Sakowski and her special friend, Brandon Parks, Rebecca (Jared) McCallum; a great-granddaughter, Madeline McCallum; a brother, Robert Altendorf; a sister-in-law, Nancy (Edward) Dempsey; two brothers-in-law: Paul (Marilyn) Pitts, William Pitts; and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Robert Pitts Jr.; and a brother, William Altendorf. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held Sunday from Noon until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the Alzheimer's Association.
