CORINNE MACALLISTER

Corinne Adele Guy MacAllister, age 97, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. She was born November 5, 1924, in Rochester, MN, daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Betlach) Guy.  She was raised in Rochester and attended the College of Saint Theresa and the University of Minnesota.

On June 26, 1946 she married Ray James MacAllister of Menominee, Michigan. They were married for 50 years. Corinne and Jim lived in Fond du Lac for 35 years, raising their 5 daughters there before moving to Bella Vista, Arkansas for retirement. 

During her retirement years, she travelled extensively to Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, and all over the continental United States.  She returned to the Fox Valley to spend the last 10 years near her children.  She loved Culvers in Neenah, and ate there nearly every week for 10 years!

Survivors include Melissa (Mark) Baldwin of Appleton, Suzanne (Tom) Barnett of Magee, Mississippi, and Deborah (Norbert) Brotz of St. Paul, Minnesota. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Rebecca Van de Ven, Emily Smith, Norbert C. and Nicholas Brotz, Ashley Barnett, and Rachel Baldwin and 3 great grandchildren, Toby and Madeleine Van de Ven and Gabrielle Baerbock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray James, her parents, her brother Dr. Eugene James Guy and her daughters Linda Bachand and Kimberly Mac Allister Albrecht. 

The funeral for Corinne will be held on Monday, Nov 22, 2021 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 am with the service at 11am. Burial will take place following the service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Island Shores in Neenah for the kind and compassionate care Corinne received over the last 10 years, especially the nursing staff led by Kathy, Renee, and Katy. A very special thank you to caregiver Kristin, for the exceptional love and care she showed Corinne. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
