Mellissa J. Mayfield, age 47, left us too soon on Friday, November 20, 2020. She was born on June 2, 1973 and resided in Neenah. She cared for her family deeply and her children and grandchildren were the center of her life. Mellissa loved going to the beach and spending time with her family. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Mellissa is survived by her children: Emily Hoover, Kyle Hoover, and Latoyia Van Eyck; grandchildren: Cecelia Hoover and Greysen Van Eyck-Patchett; mother, Mary (Philip) Conradt; father, Gerald (Edna) Van Eyck; siblings: Amy (JJ) Dempsey and Rev. Joshua (Stephanie) Conradt; nieces and nephews: Jeremy Burt, Miranda Burt; and Eden, Benjamin, Aletheia, Zoe, and Samuel Conradt, as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Ceil Verhagen; grandmother, Eileen Strauch; best friend, Olivia Maldonado; and nephew, Tyler.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Life Promotions, 3000 N Pointer Road, Appleton 54911. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to her family are appreciated.
