Obituary
Pauline A. Gidlof, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was born March 16, 1932, and then raised in Appleton, daughter of the late Margaret Cotter.
Pauline married Paul Gidlof on August 14, 1950. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2009.
Pauline retired from Equitable Reserve Association. She loved to travel visiting Europe, North Africa, Hawaii and various places in the U.S. Hosting family holiday traditions were special times for her.
Pauline was a member of a bowling and golf league. She enjoyed playing cards and luncheon dates with friends from Equitable Reserve Assoc.
Survivors include her two children: Dennis (Sally) Gidlof, Debra Williams; grandchildren: Travis Stuck, Allison Gidlof, Evan (April) Gidlof; great-grandchildren: Logan, Miles, River, Kaylin and Natalie; a sister, Shirley (George) Mason; brother, Ken (Edna) Warnke; two sisters-in-law, Lil Warnke, Shirley Gidlof; and a special friend, Betty Douglas.
Pauline was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Margaret and Wilbert Warnke; sister, Marlene Wendt; brother, Bob Warnke; three brothers-in-law; Ed Wendt, Clarence Gidlof, and Bertil (Marion) Gidlof.
Due to the pandemic a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name. A Celebration of Life will be held in 2021 for the public.
