NATHANIEL MOON

Nathaniel R. Moon, age 53, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born on January 8, 1967 to Gene and Linda Moon and grew up in Wisconsin. Nayte married Julie Conant on July 17, 1992 and enjoyed 28 years of marriage. He loved Dungeons and Dragons, Magic, card games, and many other RPGs. Nayte was a very charismatic and artistic person who enjoyed Halloween, acting in haunted houses, dancing, and singing karaoke. He was a great storyteller who never left a detail out and enjoyed all sorts of music and movies. Nate was an animal lover at heart and was a kind, fun person. He enjoyed being a Dungeon Master and a Stay-At-Home Dad with his family. Nayte was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Moon; children: Brandi (Joseph Bruley) Moon, Deirdra (Ryan Arnett) Moon, Zachary (Andrea) Moon, and Nicole Moon; parents, Gene and Linda Moon; sister, Jessica Moon; father-in-law Roy Conant, dear friends: Patrick Miller, Charles and Tammy Schroeder, and Wallace Palmer; along with many other relatives and friends.

Nayte was preceded in death by his grandparents, Neal Eugene Moon and Charlette Ruby Moon, and Norman Cornealus Fuhrman and Alta Arletta Fuhrman; mother-in-law Delores Conant, aunt, Peggy Hudziak; nephew, Carl Weiland and dear friend Roger “Booba” Geurden.

A private service will be held at the Westgor Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for the public. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established. Nayte's family would like to give a warm thank you to the staffs at Oakridge Gardens, St. Paul Elder Services, and American Grand for the compassionate care.
