Obituary
Randall Charles Melzer, age 76, passed away the evening of Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Renaissance Assisted Living in Appleton, following an extended battle with leukemia. He was born December 9, 1945, son of the late Charles and Viola Melzer.
Randy graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School and received his BBA from the University of Notre Dame in 1968. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Randy was an active member of the Fox Valley business community. He spent over 17 years working as Chapter Chair for the Fox Cities SCORE Group, 12 years serving with the YMCA of the Fox Cities, and he was an adjunct professor at Moraine Park Technical College.
He is survived by his sons: Michael (Lisa) and Jeff (Jessilina); the mother of his children, Valerie Melzer; and two granddaughters: Paige and Olivia.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a brief prayer service to follow. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Menasha.
