Obituary
David Gerald Van Eperen, 76, died Sunday December 27, 2020 at Matthews of Neenah. He was born January 10, 1944 in Milwaukee, son of the late Bernard and Agnes (Kapaul) Van Eperen. David married Paula (Hudson) on February 14, 1987.
David attended St. Mary's Catholic School and was a past member of St. Mary's Church in Appleton. His Catholic faith was an important part of his life. David proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He along with his brother were owners of Van Eperen Industrial Coating. David volunteered his time and talents to several causes. He served as regional director of the Boy Scouts of America, was a proud member and supporter of the NRA, and was an active member of Riverside Players, where he also enjoyed participating. David was a very hard working, talented man who loved working with his hands. He enjoyed woodworking, making stained glass, he even rebuilt the house he and Paula lived in. He enjoyed crossword and Sudoku puzzles, hunting and fishing. His greatest enjoyment came from his time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
David is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Paula; his four children; three daughters: Tara Van Eperen, Dana Van Eperen, and Stephanie (Daniel) Hart; and son, Bryan Tilkens; four grandchildren: Keagan Van Eperen, Lucas (Danielle) Fischenich, Olivia Hart, and Dane Hart; two great-grandchildren: Sawyer and Hudson; sister, Sherry Pickett; and brother, Gary (Sherri) Van Eperen.
