Obituary
Jeannette M. Hall, 94, died Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was born October 24, 1926 to the late Joseph and Rose (Marquardt) Birling. She married Robert Caron in 1946. After he died Jeannette married Jack Main in 1959. She then married Ronald Hall in 1968.
Jeanette graduated from Neenah High School in 1945 and worked at Neenah Paper Mill during the war. She was a waitress at the Neenah Eagles and Pancake House at Fox Point for many years.
She loved shopping days with her family, the “where the Hall are we” gang. Also making puzzles, taking care of her own house and yard, decorating for all the holidays, baking chocolate chip cookies and her semi-annual rummage sales. Jeannette loved celebrating with large family gatherings and they were always at her house. All the kids looked forward to them and will greatly miss them.
Survivors include her children: Kathi (Tom) Jones, Neenah; Mike Caron, Appleton; Theresa (Ron) Riehl, Seymour; Noreen Caron, Neenah; Pam (Keith) Oudenhoven, Kimberly; her brother; Joseph Birling, Pine River; sister-in-law; Irene Krieg, Neenah; sister-in-law, Celine (James) Stilp, Appleton; grandchildren:
Corey Knudsen, Cal Knudsen, Mike Mielke, Bryan (Alissa) Jones, Rick Knudsen, Becky (Jeff) Gillis, Stephanie (Jeff) Federwitz, Chad (Bev) Caron, Amanda Delrow, Troy (Paige) Gillis, Nathan (Jackie) Gillis, Eric James, Amy (Jeff) Vehrs, Carrie (Mike) Young. Also survived by 31 great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by all three husbands; sisters and brothers-in-law: Elaine (Gerald) Meyer, Delores (Ray) Blake, brother and sister-in-law, Harold (Carol) Birling; and sisters-in-law: Janice Birling and Shirley Birling; granddaughter, Tammi Caron.
A private service will be held and live streamed at 1:00PM on Thursday on the Facebook page for Westgor Funeral Homes. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
