Obituary
Marlene R. Morris, age 83, was called to her Heavenly home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was born July 15, 1937 in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth (Luft) Ostwald.
Marlene graduated from Oshkosh High School class of 1955 and the Neenah-Menasha Vocational School for Practical Nurses. She served her fellow man as an LPN for 40 years at Theda Clark Medical Center until her retirement in 1997. She then gave of her time volunteering at St. Paul Lutheran Church, as an Auxiliary Member at Theda Clark in the surgery waiting room and with the Attic Theatre. in retirement Marlene spent many years working for Marcus Theatres taking movie tickets at Hollwood Cinema in Appleton and also their Marcus East location in Darboy.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherrie Feavel; grandson, Ben J. Feavel; a brother, Donald (Clara) Ostwald; and dear nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Marlene was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Ross; brother, Wayne Ostwald; and a niece, Bonnie Robl.
A private service followed by entombment will be held at Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the American Cancer Society.
