DONALD PRAHL

Donald Gene Prahl, age 88 of Neenah, peacefully passed away at Parkside Senior Living in Neenah on September 8, 2018. He was born on April 29, 1930, son of the late Mathilde “Tille” E. Pope of Waupaca, WI. On July 12, 1952, Don was united in marriage to Sally Sorensen in Oshkosh, WI and they were married for 59 years before Sally's passing in 2011. Don was in the Army, stationed at Fort Bragg, NC from 1951 to 1953. He was employed by Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Lakeview Tissue Mill from 1948 to 1991, when he retired.

Don had a love of Harley Davidson Motorcycles, of which he owned two. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved going to his hunting land in Iola to hunt and just enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Don will be remembered by his daughter, Joanne (Greg) Schaller; his son, Donald (Nancy) Prahl; grandchildren, John (Dana) Prahl; Michael (Jill) Prahl; Christopher (friend Taylor) Prahl; Brian (friend Tara) Schaller; Andrew (Jaclyn) Schaller; and great-grandchildren: Kiersten and Keali Prahl; Wyatt, Landon, and Adelynn Schaller; Abigail and Katelyn Brumbaugh; nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

The Memorial Service for Don will be held at 4:30 P.M. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Friends and family will be received directly at church from 2:30 P.M. until the hour of service. Entombment will be with Sally in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.
