Obituary
Patricia Ann Schlack “Pat”, 67, passed away with her family by her side on Monday February 22, 2021, after battle with cancer. She was born in Weyauwega, daughter of the late Clarence “Bud” and Elizabeth (Pagel) Hartman.
Pat graduated from Neenah High School, class of 1972. Her first job was at Hammen's Food Market, which was a small grocery store and catering service in Neenah. Hammen's is where she met her future husband, Donald. Pat said immediately after they first met, “I am going to marry him”. Pat and Donald Schlack were married on August 4, 1973. They had two wonderful children and two grandchildren. The family lived in Neenah/Menasha until moving to Winneconne in 1992. Pat worked at Village Pub Pizza, then worked at Historic Floors, where she retired from in 2008. Pat and Don then became “snowbirds”, living in Waupaca, Florida, and everywhere in-between. Pat enjoyed kayaking, long bike rides, hiking, and taking walks with friends and relatives, especially her sister and best friend, Lynn. Her greatest enjoyment came from her time spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Don; her two children; daughter, Christina “Tina” Schlack; and son Andrew “Andy” (Ellie) Schlack; two wonderful grandchildren: Zoey and Glen Schlack; two brothers: David (Carla) Hartman, and John Hartman; and sister, Lynn (Tony) Schutte; three in-laws: Patricia Stuck, Veronica Schlack and David (Penny) Schlack; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her many camping and RVing friends at Deerhaven Campground in Waupaca, and Reflections in Florida. God's angels took Pat to Heaven, where she could be reunited with her parents; her sister, Karen; in-laws, Harold, and Marie Schlack; sister in-law, Barb Abby (Schlack); and three brothers in-law: Don Abby, Bob Stuck, and James Schlack.
Pat wanted to be remembered as she was, and not put anyone through a sorrowful service. A Celebration for Pat will be held sometime this summer. When everyone can share their favorite stories and memories.
