LORRAINE REMMEL

Lorraine B. Remmel passed away on February 27, 2021 at Rosemore Village Retirement Community in Wild Rose. She was born on May 13,1937 to the late Edward and Carrie Genske. Lorraine was married to the late Donald Paul Remmel of Neenah on April 3, 1954. They celebrated 62 years of marriage before Donald passed away in 2016.

Lorraine enjoyed many years of bowling, darts, gambling, and making and selling her fleece blankets to fund her casino trips. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her cat "Bella". She was known as "Blondie, Lips and The Party Animal" back in her days.

Lorraine and Donald raised seven children together: Jim Remmel, Georgia; Kathy (David) Pansy, Neenah; Paul Remmel (deceased); Julie (Dale) Clark, Forest Junction; Steve Remmel & special friend Julie, Menasha; Susie Kottke & special friend Robin, Larsen; and Thom Remmel, Green Bay. She is survived by many more that have become Lorraine's special "Kids" throughout the years. She also had 12 grand, 22 great and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and in-laws, two sons, one sister, two brothers, one grandchild, five brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.

Funeral service for Lorraine will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at WESTGOR FUNERAL HOME, Neenah, with Rev. Tyler Shinnick officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Burial will take place at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery.
