TERRY TISCHAUSER

Terry N. Tischauser, age 77 of Appleton, passed away early Monday, March 1, 2021 at St. Paul Elder Care. He was born April 1, 1943 in Shawano to the late Harry and Alice (Van Kirk) Tischauser. In his youth, Terry lost his mother, and his father remarried Evelyn, to whom he became a son.

Terry was a graduate of Shawano High School, class of 1961. He worked loyally for almost 40 years for Great Northern Company but could never get out of there fast enough to enjoy his true passions: fishing, hunting, and NASCAR. Terry was a member of Twin City Rod and Gun Club, Payne's Point Hook and Spear Fishing Club, and Winnebago Archers. He and his wife also held season tickets to Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. His fandom was based on Dale Jarrett, as well as anyone that drove a FORD.

Terry will always be remembered as the life of the party: the first to arrive, the last to leave; and he could make friends wherever he went. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Anne; his children: Tina (William) Rohde; and Todd (Mary) Tischauser; by his grandchildren: Michael Tischauser; Abbigale (fiancé Ricardo) Rohde; Dawson Rohde; Julie (Clint) Anker; and William (fiancée Evie) Brossman; and by one great-grandchild, Orion. He is further survived by his brother, Carl Tischauser; sisters: Sharon Voss and Deb (Dave) Gerken; by his mother-in-law, Rachel Peterson; by his brothers-in-law, Mark (Mary) Peterson; Brian (Judy) Peterson; and Matt (Sherri) Petterson; and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Ken Voss; and by his father-in-law, James Peterson.

A funeral service for Terry will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. 2200 E. College Ave. Appleton, Pastor Timothy Seabaugh officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service. After cremation, Terry will be interred with family in Big Falls Cemetery, Big Falls, WI at a later date.
