Obituary
James “OJ” Olszewski, age 63 of Menasha, unexpectedly left to meet his daughter Jenny in Heaven on Thursday, April 8, 2021. He was born July 1, 1957 to Chester and Jeanette (Bikowski) Olszewski in Neenah.
Jim graduated from St. Mary Central, class of 1975, but was a Menasha Bluejay at heart. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and watching and supporting any activity they were involved in. Jim recently retired from Ahlstrom Munksjo after 24 years and loved bird watching with his dog, Bailey. He and his wife, Sara were avid fans of Wisconsin sports, and in his younger years he could be found hunting near Tigerton.
Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 22 years, Sara; by his children: Jay (Tina); Jeremy (Jamie); Jacy; by son-in-law, Tony Pagel; and by his grandchildren: Kendall, Logan, Ethan, Madi, Jack, Paige, Lucy, Max, and Eli. He is further survived by his mother, Jeanette; by his brothers: John; Joe (Connie); Jerry (Deana); by his sisters: Sue (Joe) Gorzelitz; and Cindy (John) Sell; by nieces and nephews; by his brother-in-law, Bill Trader; and by his sisters-in-law, Sue (Booy) Trader; and Pam Trader.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester; by his daughter, Jenny in November 2020; by his father- and mother-in-law, Herb and Ardell Trader; and by his brother-in-law, Bob Trader.
Family and friends are welcome to attend visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Jim's name.
