Obituary
Kathleen Jo Rathsack, 73, died Wednesday June 16, 2021. She was born October 23, 1947, in Chicago, IL; daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (Gagnon) Buchicchio.
Kathy loved being near water. She grew up on Deer Lake in the Three Lakes chain area. She loved to read, knit, cross stitch and cook (sometimes experimentally) for her boys. She was a critical thinker and enjoyed exercising her mind with puzzles and games. She also loved to fish and loved her retirement home on Lake Winnebago. Her greatest love came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and her four sons, whom she was so very proud of.
When her youngest son went to elementary school Kathy started a passionate career in computer science. She achieved many great milestones working with Secura Insurance, Boldt construction, Tully Systems, Banta Global Turnkey and her own company KJBRPG. She was an excellent and creative troubleshooter and wrote many programs for the insurance, paper and printing industries.
Kathy is survived by her four sons: Mark (Alessandra), Costa Mesa, CA; John (Tammie), Oshkosh, Gary (Diane), Neenah, and David, Neenah; seven grandchildren: Martina, Morgan, Emillie, Blake, Bryce, Corissa, and Garett. She is further survived by two brothers: Dennis (Eva), and Joseph (Kathy) Buchicchio.
A memorial service for Kathleen will be held 4:00 PM, on Friday July 23, 2021, at the WESTGOR FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service.
