TINH MUELLER

Tinh (Yen) Mueller passed away in her sleep on Monday, July 19, 2021. Tinh was born on October 28, 1944, in Tay Ninh, Vietnam where she was 1 of 8 children. As an adult, Tinh moved to Saigon to work as a waitress on a floating French restaurant, and later on a US Navy base where she caught the eye of a sailor Jim Mueller. They married in 1967 and had a son, Herbie. Tinh was a brave and strong woman who always put her family first. Tinh moved to the United States with Jim and Herb in 1971; shortly thereafter, son Dave was born.

While Jim was deployed, Tinh stayed home to raise her sons. The family finally settled in Oshkosh in 1975. Tinh was known for her sweet personality and her delicious Vietnamese cooking - egg rolls, chow mien, and fried rice. Cooking for others was how she showed love. She enjoyed her Brewers, Packers and had a crush on Tiger Woods. Tinh loved perch fishing, tending to her garden and fruit trees, sneaking treats to her three grandchildren, and, most of all, being by the side of her husband of 54 years. They both lovingly called each other Ma and Dad. We'll miss you mom.

Tinh is survived by her husband Jim Mueller, sons Herb (Jennifer) Mueller and Dave (Jennifer) Mueller, along with grandchildren Ava, Alex and Meagan.

The Funeral Service for Tinh will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah. Family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
