STEVEN AMMETER

Steven J. Ammeter, age 60, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He was born on November 2, 1960 to the late Donald and Jean Ammeter and resided in Neenah. Steve worked at Sutton Transport in Oshkosh where he was a truck driver, sales manager, and safety coordinator. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was deer hunting, boating, golfing, and bike riding. Steve had a great sense of humor with a contagious laugh. He was an excellent cook and was a generous and kind person who loved animals. Steve was a family man at heart who was always there for anyone in need. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

Steve is survived by his wife Tammy Kadah-Ammeter; children Stephanie Ammeter, Tamrah (Joel) Ellenbecker, and Josh (fiancée Valerie Surita) Ammeter; grandchildren Theodore, Lincoln, Aliya, and Antonio; sister Kim (Mark) Ammeter Ryan; sisters-in-law Venitta (Bruce) Parrotte and Melinda McMillan; mother-in-law Sharlene Kargus-Graves, father-in-law Edmund Graves; nieces and nephews Danielle and Samantha Ryan, Angela Parrotte, Gregg Phelps along with his children Ivori and Tyger; as well as Cassie and Katie McMillan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Edmund Graves Jr.

A funeral service for Steve will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until the time of the service. For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
