PETER HACKSTOCK

Peter R. Hackstock, 70, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 30th. He was born on June 12, 1950, in Neenah, son of the late, Harold & Margaret (Roou) Hackstock.

Pete graduated from Neenah Senior High School in 1968. He attended UW-Eau Claire and graduated in 1973 with a degree in business. Pete spent much of his career in sales where he excelled in every position. His career took him to Illinois, Nebraska, California, Wisconsin & Minnesota. Due to health issues, he retired at the age of 46. Pete was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Oshkosh.

After Pete retired, he spent several years as a volunteer coach, statistician, and fund raiser for the Oshkosh North boys' basketball team. He had many fond memories watching the basketball games. Sports were a big part of Pete's life! He was an avid golfer since he was very young & played in the State High School Golf Meet. Pete loved his family with all his heart, and they all loved him so very much. He enjoyed many fun filled family reunions in Lake Tahoe, California every summer.

Pete is survived by his brother, Nick (Anne), Denver, Colorado; sister Jan (Andy) Blomsness, Winona, Minnesota; nieces and nephews: Nicole (Pat) Callahan, Chrissy (Andy) Fedorowicz, Denver CO, Erik and Matthew Blomsness, Plymouth, Minnesota; great nieces and nephews: Sean and Charlotte Callahan, Bennet and Mimi Fedorowicz, Denver, CO; He is further survived by his extended family: Jeff (Patti) Blomsness, Robert (Mel) Blomsness, and Kristina (Etienne) Rieder.

A Mass of Christian burial for Pete will be 11:00 AM on Friday June 4, 2021, at ST. RAPHAEL THE ARCHANGEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 830 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh, with Fr. Tom Long officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Friday morning beginning at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Mass. Entombment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Shrine of Heaven, Mausoleum in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Pete will be remembered for his kind heart and generous spirit. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, his passing leaves a hole in so many hearts. He was a wonderful brother, uncle, and friend to so many.
