Obituary
Roger Kenneth Staffeld, 72, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2021. He was born May 25, 1949, in Neenah, son of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Blank) Staffeld. Roger married Lori Rosenberger on February 18, 2011.
Roger served his country in the U.S. Army. He returned home and worked at Berkens Sport Shop in downtown Neenah. Roger retired from KC/Neenah Paper after 31 years. In his younger years, Roger enjoyed fishing and hunting. Later he enjoyed gardening, going to casinos, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Showing his daughter how to be passionate about bacon was a highlight of his life.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Lori; three children: Brian (Heather) Staffeld, Tracie, aka “Tes” (Mike) Krisch, and Lorelei Staffeld; his two stepchildren: Jennifer (Joe) Hedrick, and Jacob Bednar; three grandchildren: Emilie, Vivian, and Eva; sister, Karen (Jack) Hultman; brother, Carlton (Maxine) Staffeld; and special family friend, Jake Rubbert. Roger was further preceded in death by his beloved sister, Marlene Kerr.
Funeral service for Roger will be 6:00 PM on Sunday June 27, 2021, at WESTGOR FUNERAL HOME-NEENAH. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday afternoon beginning at 3:00 PM until the 6:00 PM service. Burial will be in private at Oakhill Cemetery.
Roger's family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staffs from Ascension, St. Elizabeth, Mercy Medical, and Fresenius that have cared for Roger over the years, for all their care and compassion.
