CRAIG SWENSON

Craig R. Swenson, aka “Thumper,” passed away peacefully Friday, July 2, 2021. He was born August 25, 1968 in Neenah, WI.   Although he lived in various cities throughout his life, his younger years growing up were in Allenville, WI.

Craig's larger-than-life presence served him well as a security guard, which gave him so many opportunities to see the live music and meet new people. His gift to gab blessed him with many friends whom he considered his family. It was those friends who nicknamed him “Thumper”. He had a love for motorcycles and talked often about the need to ride again. He lost the long battle with his health but his time has come to Ride High and Free!

Craig is survived by his children: Bekah (Evan) Konkol; Dalton (girlfriend Leanna Baker); Jeffi Rae (Ryley) Pupp; and Abigail Zittlow; by his granddaughter Luna Rose; as well as by a grandbaby on the way. He is further survived by his parents: Linda Daum and Dale (Marlys) Swenson; his sister, Jenette Swenson and Brother in law Jeffry Cashen; his niece, Samantha Laabs (Tony Reuter); by his nephew, Christopher (Katie) Swenson, and by their families; as well as by many other relatives and friends; who will miss him dearly.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A memorial service for Craig will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Craig's name.
