Richard P. Printz, “Rich”, age 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2026. He was born September 2, 1941, in Amherst Junction, WI, son of the late William and Hildegarde (Hornung) Printz.
Rich graduated from Amherst High School in 1959. Shortly after, he then enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Germany working as a map maker.
Rich married Elizabeth (Liz) Carlson on June 29, 1968, at St. Mary Magdeline Parish in Waupaca. Liz preceded him in death on September 1, 2022. He was employed with Kimberly Clark Neenah Paper where he worked up to Machine Tender on Machine #3.
Rich had four brothers, including his twin, Bob. Rich and Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting together. He truly enjoyed the outdoors, his yard, and the many meals eating vegetables from his own garden. Rich enjoyed traveling around the country with Liz and multiple close friends. Rich looked forward to the annual 4th of July party and entertained all with his famous sparkler dance.
Rich is a former member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Menasha.
Survivors include his daughter, Christine Printz; son, Scott (Elizabeth) Printz; two grandsons: Michael Printz, Samuel Printz; and his twin brother, Robert Printz and his friend, Dee.
Rich was preceded in death by two brothers: James and William Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Neenah’s Westgor Funeral Home. Military Honors with the Neenah/Menasha Veteran’s Honor Guard will follow. Visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Neenah/Menasha Veteran’s Honor Guard.
