ERIC SCHROEDER

Eric LeRoy Schroeder, 49, passed away on Sunday October 3, 2021. He was born in Neenah on December 2, 1971, to the late Arlen and Diana (Heinz) Schroeder. He graduated from Neenah High School in 1990. Eric married Tina Williams on August 9, 1997.

Eric, otherwise known as Popeye, worked at Appleton Marine for 27 years where he forged many friendships. Eric was so good at giving all his co-workers nicknames that his family never knew what anyone's real name was. He enjoyed spending time with his family at Roberts Lake every summer, even though there were no fish in the lake, and he never spotted Bigfoot. Eric was a lover of all animals, especially his favorite Bun Bun, Wallace.

Eric is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Tina; their two children: Kierstin and Carson; two sisters: Mary (Brian) Beiser and Cindy (Rob) Butke; his sister in-law Amy (Mike) Brey; five nephews: Andy, Paul and Alex (Brittany) Beiser, Spencer Butke and Dracen Brey, who were both also his godsons; two nieces: Angela Butke and Skyler Brey; great nephew Brody Beiser; and two great nieces: Ava and Genevieve Beiser. He is also survived by his mother in-law, Candy Williams; his cousin and partner in crime, Brian; his goddaughter: Katie Poquette, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Eric was further preceded in death by his father in-law: Henry Williams.

A celebration of life for Eric will be held this Saturday October 9, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the WESTGOR FUNERAL HOME, NEENAH.
