CAROL MUELLER

Carol Lou Mueller, 89, loving mother, grandmother “framma” and great-grandmother, died Sunday October 3, 2021, at Prairie Homes, House of Faith with her family by her side. She was born in Larsen, WI; on June 28, 1932, daughter of the late Birdell and Bessie (Mathison) Johnson. Carol married Norman Mueller on September 27, 1952. They celebrated 49 years together before Norman preceded Carol in death on September 10, 2001. 

Carol was employed by Marathon Engineering until her retirement. Carol had many interests in life that she truly enjoyed.  She loved baking and cooking - many of which became family favorites.  Lefse, Chop Suey, Chicken Noodle Soup, and famous Rice Krispy treats to name a few.  She always had a jar full of M&M's for all her visitors. For years she volunteered her time as much as she could to make the world a better place. In her down time, she loved going for walks, putting together puzzles and conquering the daily crossword puzzle.  A trip to the casino was always of interest and she had a great time even if she didn't win big.  Christmas time with the entire family was always a big event at her house.  She lived many great years, and she will be missed by all that knew her.  

Carol is survived by her six children, three daughters: Carla (David) Hartman, Cindy (Dennis) Beyersdorf, and Sue (Scott) Kaufert; three sons: Jeff “Bean”, Keith “Shorty” (special friend, Donna Van Rooy), and Todd “Peach” Mueller; ten grandchildren: Nicki (Joe) Bowers, Heather (Mike) Tietje, Dennis Mueller, Ashley (Mike) Borkowski, Lindsey Rankin, Danielle (fiancé Jordan) Kaufert, Stephanie Kaufert, Tyler (Mal) Mueller, Amanda Beyersdorf, and Jeremy (Annie) Beyersdorf; ten great-grandchildren: Peyton, Charlotte, Sophia, Anna, Tenley, Tucker, Logan, Charlie, Emerson, and Rylan; two sisters: Marilyn Pagel, and Nancy Wunderlich; and a brother, Robert Johnson. Carol also was survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Carol was further preceded in death by four sisters, and six brothers.

Funeral service for Carol will be 11:00 AM on Thursday October 7, 2021, at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 407 Oak Street, Neenah, with Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday morning beginning at 9:00 until the 11:00 AM service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.

Carol's family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Prairie Homes, House of Faith, especially Tanya, Emily, Abby, Aaron, Robin, Kara, and her close special friend Joanne, and to the staff of Heartland Hospice, for all their care and compassion.  

 Gone be the pain, gone be the tears.  We will never forget all the wonderful years.  Fear is now gone, worry no more.  Your Maker is waiting for you at Heavens Door.  You've been called home, spread your wings and fly.  And until we meet again, please keep a watchful eye.
