Obituary
Glen M. Benzschawel, age 70, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was born on December 2, 1950 to the late Clifford and Deloris Benzschawel and resided in Grand Chute. Glen worked as a millwright for over 30 years before retiring. He loved playing cards, fishing, riding motorcycles, and spending time up north. Glen had a dry wit and a great sense of humor. He treasured the time spent with family, especially when he was with his grandchildren. Glen will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children Laura (friend Bryan Beard) Parsley, James (friend Lona Aguilar) Benzschawel, Michael (Heidi) Benzschawel, and Paul (Nicole) Benzschawel; grandchildren Brianna, Connor, Eric, Dakota, Alexander, Austin, Kaelyn, Camdyn, Addyson, and Kali; siblings Connie (Bill) Radtke, Shirley (Dan) Sohre, Alan (Pam) Benzschawel, Gary (Jeri) Benzschawel, Todd (Rene) Benzschawel, and Bonnie (Ian) Davison; former spouse Cheryl Benzschawel and her family; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Glen was preceded in death by his son-in-law Shaun Parsley, brother-in-law Tim Jansen, and sister-in-law Linda Benzschawel.
A celebration of life for Glen will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from Noon to 3:00 pm at Grand Chute Town Center Park & Community Building, 1850 W. Grand Chute Blvd, Appleton.
