SANDRA JIRIKOWIC

Sandra Lea “Sandy” Jirikowic, age 80, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah. She was the youngest of five children born to the late Edward and Melvina Pomrening.

Sandy was born June 1, 1941, in Neenah, WI, and had five children of her own. She grew up and lived her entire life in the Fox Valley and worked at Menasha Corporation for 19 years. Sandy loved her family and friends and was always looked upon as a kind and gentle soul. She loved music and was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley. Sandy even named her cat Elvis, whom she loved dearly.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jirikowic; her brother, Edward; sisters: Jean and Donna. She is survived by her sister, Rita Lemke; five children: Brian Capelle, Christopher Capelle, Travis Capelle, Wendy Capelle, Kevin Capelle; her niece, Debbie Kolanski, who was a great help to Sandy; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and her 18 grandchildren.

Sandy was a loving wife and mother, and a great friend to many and she will be greatly missed.
