PETER VAN LINN

Peter F Van Linn Jr, age 63, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Appleton. He was born March 19, 1958, in Neenah, son of the late Peter Francis Van Linn Sr and Gertrude Ann (Miller) Van Linn.

Pete served his country as a U.S. Marine and spent the rest of his days truly enjoying the simple things in life. He loved to spend quality time with friends and family; whether it was supporting the Packers (or any sport) or hanging out and listening to classic rock, singing along like no one was listening. He loved all things outdoors. From spending time in Mountain hunting, fishing or watching birds to just sitting around the fire. His smile was never bigger than when he rode his Harley. He was so passionate about hitting the road and taking in all the beauty, either by himself or with friends and loved ones. He truly enjoyed the simple things.

Survivors include his significant other, Julie Gurnoe; two children: Peter (Sara) Van Linn III, Kristyl Van Linn; three grandchildren: Zev, Asher and Emmet Van Linn, two brothers: Daniel Van Linn, Shawn (Kay) Van Linn; and two sisters: Barbara (Ned) Moore, Cheryl Sturgis, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Van Linn; sister, Cindy Dennis; three nephews: Shannon Dennis, Justin Sturgis and Daniel "Bo" Van Linn; and two nieces: Kimberly Van Linn and Andrea Van Linn.

A private family service will be held and a public celebration of Life will be at a later date.
