DERIC WEYMOUTH

Deric Aaron Weymouth came into this world in the small town of St. Albans, Maine on 07/07/1977, weighing 7lbs 7 oz, at 7:00 A.M. He left this earth on Sunday, November 14, 2021 with his son Dylan James holding his hand and family by his side.

While living in Maine, Deric and his siblings embraced the country life by playing in the creek, running in the fields, and fishing in Big Indian Lake. When he was ten, Deric moved with his family from Maine to Marinette, Wisconsin, where he made many friends. Much of his high school years were spent living in Massachusetts with his mother Leah, and Auntie Jo. At 17 he returned to Wisconsin where he met the love of his life, Tara.

Deric and Tara were married on Dec 11,1999 and completed their family with the addition of a son, Dylan James who Deric always called James. Dylan James and Tara were Deric's whole world, and his biggest joy in life. Inseparable from the beginning, they shared a special bond that will never be forgotten.

He will be remembered by his family and friends as a very loving and giving soul, who had a special way of including people in everything. He never wanted anyone left out. A big joy in his life was spending time with family and friends. Deric was close with his father, Ken who was teaching him to fly fish. They both had looked forward to future trips together. His stepmother, Gerri, helped raise him into the man he became. Aunt Ginny was a frequent, and important part of his life also. Deric looked up to his older brother, Chris, his whole life. They loved hanging out together which included going to the gun range. Visiting his sister Stacey was always something he looked forward to, and especially so when she would make a home cooked Italian dinner. Spending time with his younger brother Ryan was always enjoyed. He loved to make his sister Darci and his mother-in-law, Gloria, laugh and see them smile. While loving all his nieces and nephews, Deric had a special bond with his nephew Alex who he often called Al. He loved the time he spent with Alex and his family.

Deric took pride in his metal fabrication work. Perfecting his craft and helping others on the job were important to him. Going on the road to do installations was a source of pride and a highlight in his career. After work Deric liked watching movies with Tara, going out to eat, and any moment he had to talk and hang out with Dylan.

Whether it was spending time around a campfire or dinner table, Deric was happiest when he was together with family and friends living life. Deric would want you to remember him as he was, a kind and gentle soul.

Deric is survived by his wife, Tara Weymouth, and their son, Dylan James. He is also survived by his father, Ken Weymouth (Sue Shea); and by his siblings: Christopher (Gloria) Weymouth; Craig (Misty) Dauphinee; Stacey (Paul) Gellings; Clarissa Larry; Darci Westmoreland; and Ryan (Natasha) Weymouth; and further survived by many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Deric was greeted by his mother Leah and stepmother Gerri on the other side.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home.
