ELIZABETH SCHNASSE

Elizabeth “Billie” Schnasse, age 83, passed away on Friday, January 7th, 2022, with family by her side. She was born December 11th, 1938 to late Orville and Rose Kloes. In he younger years, she enjoyed tap dance, ballet, and baton twirling. She was elected homecoming queen her senior year. She met the love of her life, Eugene Schnasse, at a football game, who she waited a few years to marry on April 11th, 1958. Together, they enjoyed 59 years of marriage and had 3 boys. 

Billie was a skilled artist and enjoyed making paper tole, jewelry, blankets, baskets, and many other crafts. She was not one to turn down a new craft someone would introduce her to. She was a reupholstery instructor at Fox Valley Tech for many years. If she was not doing any crafts, you would find her somewhere out in her gardens, making sure her flowers were at perfection. During the winter months, she and Eugene, would travel south to Texas and spend 4 months with their friends from the motor home club.

She is survived by her sons Steven (Rebecca) Schnasse and Todd (Debra) Schnasse; grandchildren Brooke (Chris) Franco and Holly (Alan) Jabas; great-grandchildren: Carson And Baylyn Franco, Nolan and Miles Jabas; step-grandchild Hunter Mares; step great-grandsons: Jace and Orin Mares. Billie is further survived by her siblings: Dick (Dorothy) Kloes, Dennis “Doc" (Mary "Babe") Kloes, Rusty (Rose) Kloes, and Cindy (Isaac) Kemp. She is proceeded in death by her husband Eugene Schnasse, son Michael Schnasse, and sister Barb Kloes Timmers.

Billie was deeply loved by her family and her memory will live on with them.

The funeral service for Billie for family and close friends will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the hour of the service. She will be laid to rest with her husband Eugene at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah.
