CECELIA KRUKOWSKI

Cecelia(Cele) Marie Krukowski, 90, died Sunday August 7, 2022, at Prairie Home Assisted Living, Menasha. She was born October 4, 1931, in De Pere, daughter of the late, Norbert and Louise (Lasee) Terrien. Cecelia's mother Louise died just six weeks after her birth, she was raised by her father and stepmother, Marie Knaub. Cele married Joseph Krukowski on August 30, 1952; they were blessed with 69 years of marriage before Joseph preceded Cele in death on March 22, 2022.

Cele worked for Kimberly Clark, Campbell's Clothing Store, and retired from Neenah School District working in food service. She was a charter member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah, where she volunteered her time and talent helping with the church funeral lunches, rummage sales and serving coffee and doughnuts after the weekend Masses and also as a Girl Scout leader. Cele enjoyed working on puzzles, playing cards, crocheting, baking, and canning fruits, and vegetables that Joe grew in their garden. Her greatest enjoyment came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cele is survived by her four daughters: Joanne (James) Miller, Kathy (Phil) Sprangers, Donna (Pat) Harrell, and Mary (John) Boudry; nine grandchildren: Steven (Amy), Timothy (Jessica), Rebecca (Leon), Jacob (Fiancée Amber), Adam (Brianne), Matthew (special friend Erin), Alicia (Justin), Elise, and  Helen;  nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Cele was further preceded in death by her  granddaughter, Sarah Sprangers; stepmother, Marie; sister and brother in-law, Rita (Marvin) Bergner; brother, Bernard Terrien: and Joe's three sisters, three brothers and their spouses.

Mass of Christian burial for Cecelia will be 11:30 AM on Monday August 15, 2022, at ST. GABRIEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah, with Fr. Robert Kollath officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Monday morning beginning at 10:00AM until the 11:30 AM Mass. Entombment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.

The family would like to thank the staff at Prairie Home for their wonderful care of our mother during the short time she was there and all of her hospice caregivers over the past two years.

Mom, you made friends along the way in everything you did. You will be missed.
