NICHOLAS ARGALL

Nicholas (Nick) William Argall, 27, of Neenah passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was born on August 4, 1994, the second of seven children, to Kim and Joyce (Finkelmeyer) Argall. He attended Neenah Schools, including Wilson Elementary, Horace Mann and Shattuck Middle Schools before graduating from Neenah High School in 2013. While at Neenah High, he participated in football, basketball, baseball, tennis, and track. He had a passion for sports, especially football. He worked at the Neenah-Menasha YMCA in the youth sports and recreation department through high school and was a lifeguard for many summers at the Neenah Pool. He continued his education at UW-La Crosse graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing in 2017. He participated in numerous intramural sports in college, including a championship in basketball that he was very proud of. In his last year of college, he stumbled upon a calling when he began hosting his own radio program called Nick at Night for RAQ Radio, the campus radio station. While a student at La Crosse, he worked at Murphy Library and the School of Business. He was a marketing intern at Kohler Co. the summer of 2016.

Following graduation, he worked as a counselor at a boy's summer camp in Upstate New York. It was an opportunity he could not pass up. His love of children and the outdoors defined him. The campers were there for the entire summer which gave Nick plenty of time to work his magic and make a lasting impact on many young lives. Kids loved everything from Nick's sense of humor to his willingness to stop at nothing to make an outing fun. He later became a substitute teacher for the Neenah Joint School District and a WIAA official working many area high school football and basketball games combining his two loves, sports and children. For the past three years, he was employed at Transcontinental in Menasha.

Family was very important to Nick. He was a role model to his younger siblings and had a special bond with Amanda, Bruce and Mitchell who loved him dearly. Nick relished the simple pleasures of life. Material things meant little to him. His winning smile was his most charming attribute and is etched forever in our memory.

Nick is survived by his parents: Kim and Joyce, Neenah; his siblings, Eric (Faith Lampman), Mineral Point; Abby, Chicago; Gabe, Oshkosh; Amanda, La Crosse; Bruce and Mitchell, Neenah. He is further survived by his girlfriend Kayla Fritsch, who meant the world to him, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jim and Frances Argall & Paul and Gola Finkelmeyer; and his uncles, Daniel Argall, and Greg Carey.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Nick will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at ST. MARGARET MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 620 Division St., Neenah, WI with Fr. Jared Holzhuter, Nick's cousin, officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 30 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Westgor Funeral Home, Neenah, and continue Monday  from 9:30 - 10:50 a.m. at the church. There will be a burial at St. Margaret Cemetery at a later date.

Nick was a tenderhearted soul who would readily forgive others but struggled to forgive himself. We forgive you, Nick, and will always remember you and love you. May you rest now, rest in peace.
