VIRGINIA MEYER

Virginia Florence (nee' Kaun) Meyer, age 85, was called to eternal rest on Thursday, February 17, 2022. She died peacefully following numerous battles with infections. She was born, September 1, 1936, daughter of  the late Raymond and Edna (Koerber) Kaun. Virginia became a child of God on September 20, 1936, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Root Creek, WI. She was a class of ‘54 graduate of Neenah High School. She worked for a brief time as Teletype Operator at Kimberly Clark Corp.

Virginia married her beloved, Ronald Carl Meyer on July 27, 1957. They lovingly worked a farm in the Town of Menasha. They were blessed with six loving children. Virginia loved being a farmer's wife, driving tractors and working alongside her beloved Rony. She was a faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neenah. Virginia loved being with all her family, painting, drawing, stitching, sewing (her Pfaff sewing machine was a constant companion), and sharing the love of the Lord. She also loved flowers and gardened, crocheted, and wrote poetry.

Virginia is survived by her four children: Andrew (Jodi) Meyer, Jenny (Mark) Stuedemann, Molly (Robert) Stuedemann, and Martin Meyer;  13 grandchildren: Lea Stuedemann, Ginny (Jeremy) Uecker, Aaron (Katelyn) Stuedemann, Micah Stuedemann, Elise Stuedemann  (fiancé Michael Caylor), Travis Svatek, Timothy Stuedemann, Anika (Joshua) Domer, Zechariah (Anne) Stuedemann, Nathan Meyer, David (Shana) Wolff, Andrew (Amanda) Wolff, and Steven (Hiliary) Wolff; 15 great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Kieran, Samuel, Ian Domer, Cory, Isaac Uecker, Poppy Svatek, Lee, Mia, Al Wolff, Owen, Josie, Ivan Wolff, Henry, and Oswin Wolff. She is further survived by her brother, Fred (Barb) Kaun; two sisters:  Margaret (Gail) Minks, and Jeanette (Jim) Bryan; brother in-law Raymond (Annette) Bachmann; sister in-law, Betty-Jane (Charles) Kaun; along with several nieces and nephews. She was further preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; son, Timothy Meyer; daughter, Amy Svatek;  father and mother in-law:  Arnold and Hilma Meyer; brother, Charles (Betty-Jane) Kaun; sister, Annette (Raymond) Bachmann; three sisters in-law: Verna (James) Witt, Barbara (Clarence) Meyer, and Ruth (Gary) Meyer; and three brothers in-law: James (Verna) Witt, Clarence (Barbara) Meyer, and Gary (Ruth) Meyer.

Funeral service for Virginia will be 11:00 AM on Friday February 25, 2022, at TRINITY EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 407 Oak St., Neenah, with Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. Friends will be received Friday morning at the church, beginning at  9:00 until the 11:00 AM service. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
