CLIFFORD KARNOPP

Clifford F Karnopp passed into eternal life on February 18th, 2022 after a twelve year battle with Parkinson's. Cliff was born to Marrie (Hanson) and Frederick Karnopp on August 18^th, 1944. He married Karen Bernhagen on April 12th,1969. They were blessed with two children, Traci Bowick (Rob) of Simpsonvillle, SC; and Kevin of Neenah. Cliff was blessed and also proud of his two loving grandchildren, Haley and Andrew Bowick. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Ron Bernhagen (Barbara) and their family; and many cousins from Karen's family. Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Germaine.

Cliff's life revolved around providing a happy family life. He was a hard worker. If anything benefited the family he loved, he was willing to do it. He had a great relationship with Karen's parents and always was there for them as well. He worked for Graphic Packaging for 45 years before retiring at the age of 67. Cliff and Karen traveled to Colorado, South Dakota, Iowa, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina and a few times, spent a month in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Karen's family became Cliff's family.

Karen would like to thank dear friends Kristen and Brent Schulz, and Sandy and Dan Vander Linden, and others for their loving support. She extends her thanks to doctors and nurses who helped Cliff when he needed them. Karen was also helped by Care Patrol for their guidance and caring when she was feeling lost and alone. She will be forever grateful to the people from hospice care who helped both her and Cliff to believe when this earthly life ends a new eternal pain free life begins.

There will be no funeral. Please remember Cliff as you knew him in the better days. He kept doing things he liked even when Parkinson's slowed him down. God provided him help through family, friends and neighbors who became friends. Karen will be forever grateful. God called him home now to watch over all of us. May love continue on.
