Obituary
Mildred “Milly” Clara Brooks, 45, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Wednesday February 23, 2022. She was born, July 30, 1976, in Appleton, daughter of Rebecca (Steenis) Mendez and Charles Brooks.
Milly was a proud daughter, mother, grandma, sister, and friend. She was known best for her big heart and giving personality. Milly enjoyed road trips across the state, arts and crafts, gardening, long hot baths, all animals, and she especially enjoyed her kitchen dance parties.
Milly is survived by her parents: mother, Rebecca (Jacinto) Mendez, and father, Charles Brooks; son, Jonathon (Kristi) Herman; three sisters: Michelle (Ed) Adrian, Heather Brooks, and Diane (Ryan) Cumber; two brothers: Bradley Brooks, and Andrew Yuhas. She is further survived by countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and all her adopted children. Milly lived , breathed, loved, and cherished her grand babies: James temperance, and Chloe Herman. She was preceded in death by her stepmom, Ginger Blumke; sister, Jennifer Doud; two aunts: Sue Williams, and Rosalie Steenis.
Funeral service for Milly will be 3:00 PM on Friday March 4, 2022, at WESTGOR FUNERAL HOME, Neenah, with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Family will receive guests Friday afternoon at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 until the 3:00 PM service.
