JAMES BERINGER

James P. Beringer, age 85 of Neenah, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was born May 1, 1936 to the late Carl and Margaret (Kuether) Beringer in Neenah, and was married to Donna Pomrening on October 22, 1960.

Jim was an Army veteran who worked as a proud and accomplished master level plumber for many years. After retirement, he enjoyed helping Donna take care of their grandchildren. He was versed in woodworking and gardening, enjoyed hiking with his family, fishing, and just being outside in general. An active member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Jim will be remembered as a humble, caring individual who enjoyed his word jumble and having a beer with olives with anyone who would join him.

Jim is survived by his children: Jeff (Patty) Beringer; Becky (Jeff Vollmer) Beringer; and Pat (Tia) Beringer; as well as by his grandchildren: Rheanna (John Krenik) Remmel; Zach (Jessica) Beringer; Renee (Connor) Gleason; Ethan (Chelsey) Beringer; Caleb Kropf; and Lyla Beringer; and by four great-grandchildren. Jim is further survived by his siblings: John, Michael, Carl, Margaret, and Joe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna in 2010; and by his brother, Bobby.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah. A visitation will be held at church from 10:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Jim will join Donna at St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah.
