Obituary
Russell J. Noren, age 86, of Neenah, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022.
Russ was born in Wausau, WI on February 19, 1936, son of Doris and Elmer Noren. He graduated from D.C. Everest High School in Schofield, WI. After high school he worked for Marathon Corporation.
He married Marlene Eggebrecht on August 9, 1958, in Wausau, WI. They transferred to Neenah in 1962 with American Can. He worked in research and international sales with American Can and Videojet Technologies in Illinois. During his career he traveled to many countries around the world. He especially enjoyed visiting Germany and ended his career with Hueft Systemtechnik located in Burgbrohl, Germany.
Russ enjoyed traveling and he and Marlene visited Hawaii many times. He was an avid fisherman, liked being outdoors and he especially loved animals. He was very handy and there was nothing that he could not fix.
Russ is survived by his wife Marlene; daughter, Tami and her husband, Jim Erickson. He has two grandsons, Ben and Sam Erickson. Russ was a big Neenah Rockets fan and was proud to cheer on his grandsons when they played at Neenah High School.
A memorial service for Russ will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St., Neenah. A visitation will be held at church from 11:30 A.M. until the hour of service.
