Obituary
Steven G. VanOudenhoven, age 88, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022. He was born September 7, 1933, in Little Chute, son of the late Henry and Johanna VanOudenhoven.
Steven spent 38 years with the love of his life, Carol Olson, until her passing in 2013.
Steve's passion in life was Stock Car racing, he was a mechanic/owner in a car that won track championships at the local tracks in the 1960's. Steve never missed a Nascar race on TV and also traveled with Carol to see many races live. Steve also enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Bucks, Brewers and Packers games. He retired from the City of Neenah after 40 years of employment. Following retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family and bike riding. Steven then had to give up his bike but enjoyed getting around town on his scooter where he experienced many glorious days.
Survivors include his son, Jeff (Patty) VanOudenhoven; Carol's children: Scott (Becky) Olson, Brett (Kalyn) Olson, Lance (Nancy) Olson, Curt (Tanya) Olson; eight grandchildren: Steven, Mike (Leonna), Jason (Jillian), Chip (Nicole), Kane, Claire, Chris, Stacie (Greg), Karl, Brandon (Danielle); numerous great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Jane Vought.
Steven was preceded in death by a son, Joseph; five brothers: Robert (Marion), Eugene (Blanche), Gerald (Lori), Herb (Janet), Marv (Donna).
Steven will be cremated and buried at St. Margaret's Cemetery.
