Obituary
Ethyn Tavas Beyer passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 31, 2022, after complications related to a lifelong chronic medical condition.
Ethyn was born on October 19, 2006, in Appleton, Wisconsin to Victoria and Travis Beyer with a rare blood disorder. After many visits to American Family Children's Hospital, many specialists and doctors, it was decided to remove Ethyn's spleen, which left him immunocompromised. Recognizing the seriousness of this, Ethyn's parents were devoted to staying vigilant in monitoring for signs of infection. They also knew how important it was for Ethyn to live life fully, encouraging him to try new things and love with his whole heart. Their devotion to Ethyn couldn't stop an infection from developing late Wednesday night. Ethyn passed away Thursday morning, surrounded by family; he could feel how much he was loved.
In his short life, one of Ethyn's greatest joys was the brotherhood he found with his best friends, Ethan and Braeden, playing video games, bowling, and collecting heartwarming memories that will forever be treasured. In his coming of age, Ethyn cherished spending time in the woods with his father and was especially proud of his first deer. Ethyn was a patriot at heart and loved anything involving the military, the American flag, learning about guns, and collecting knives. This led to Ethyn's aspirations of becoming a military member or a bounty hunter. Ethyn also had a quirky side and loved drawing, Baja Blast, cheese roll-ups from Taco Bell, Lego - Speed Champions, all animals, tiny trinkets, and making voice impressions. He treasured going to Dave & Buster's with his family, heading to The Dells for mini-golf, go-karting, and tubing down the river. What he truly held closest to his heart was spending quality time with his friends and family.
Ethyn is survived by his parents, Victoria and Travis; and by his brother, Tristan Beyer; grandparents, Sandy Beyer, David (Rose) Driessen; aunts and uncles, Troy Beyer, Tanya (Aaron) Campbell, Tammy Hoffstatter, Lori (Doug) Getchius, Amy (Peter) Buzay, Heidi (Chris) Schleyer, Johny (Trena) Driessen; cousins Brianne, Marc, Erin, Corey, Taylor, Mariah, Dylan, Amara, Cresha, Corsa, Conan, Aspen, Maddox, Felicia, Michelle, and Braiden; many other relatives, and friends.
Ethyn was preceded in death by grandparents, Bill Beyer, Sharon (Jon) Mulder; great grandparents, Francis Knipfel, Earl (Marie) Driessen, Dodo (James) Wilkinson; great aunt, Lana Sprague.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, Ethyn's family asks you to consider donating to a memorial fund being established in Ethyn's memory.
Ethyn's family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at St Elizabeth emergency room working tirelessly to save our boy, Gold Cross ambulance and Theda Star for being on standby to get him to Madison.
