Susan Emerich

Susan Emerich (Severson), 83,  passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was born in Neenah, daughter of the late, Stanley and Dorothy (Brown) Severson. Susan Married Don Emerich on September 8, 1960.

 Susan was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, attended Middlebury College and Lawrence University. Susan was a loving wife and a creative and prolific artist who embraced a challenge. Her gardens were the talk of the neighborhood. She sang, painted, sewed, and knitted intricate sweaters in the traditional Norwegian style.

 Susan leaves behind her loving husband of 61 years, Don, Middleton, WI;  two daughters: Kate (Mike) Emerich Gordon, Denver, CO; and Ellie (Alec) Emerich Hart, Colorado Springs, CO;  son, John (Karen) Emerich, Newnan, GA; brother, John (Lynne) Severson;  nephew, Eric Severson; two grandsons: Daniel and Peter Marmer; and two granddaughters: Jeannie (Stephan) Emerich Keil, and Savannah Emerich;  as well as two great-granddaughters: Ellie and Julia Keil. 

A graveside service for Susan will be scheduled in the Spring at Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
