SALLY BARTZ

Sally Sue Bartz, age 76 of Neenah, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, April 16, 2022.  Sally was born January 31, 1946, the daughter of Louie and Emma Veith. 

Sally grew up in Oshkosh and was the twelfth of thirteen children. She spoke often of the chores she had to do for her older siblings and the tricks they would often play on her.  She was a stay-at-home mom for many years, wrapped gifts (as a perfectionist) at Prange's in Fond du Lac, worked for Marc's Big Boy in Oshkosh as a waitress which she absolutely enjoyed, worked at Fleet Farm in Oshkosh, started her own house cleaning business which she was obsessive about, and then ended her working years as the owner of Sally Sue's Neighborhood Pub where she met her soul mate, Steve.  Sally loved all the dear friends she made while working the bar with Steve and visited regularly upon retirement.  She always referred to her friends at the bar as her family.  Sally grew up in a family who loved singing together in beautiful harmony.  She shared her gift and passion for singing at the bar singing karaoke. Sally was a huge Packer fan and looked forward to every game. She loved roses, loved butterflies, loved family, and loved her Lord Jesus Christ with whom she now resides.                 

Sally is survived by her husband, Steven Bartz; a daughter, Brenda Dusso; a son, Rod Andresen, a son, JJ (Kim) Rodencal; a step-daughter, Angela Fink; two step-sons: Andrew Bartz and Alex Bartz; seven granddaughters: Katrina (John), Brittany, Kyria, Ashley, Haley, Kailee and Hannah; five grandsons: CJ (Ashley), Kayne (Alyssa), Lee, Tim and Justin; four step-grandchildren: Kaden, Jocelyn, Freya and Riley; four great-grandchildren;  two brothers: Ed (Josie) Veith and Ken Veith; one sister, Rosemary Veith; three brothers-in-law: George Adian, Tom (Cindy) Bartz, and David (Cheryl) Bartz; many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gary Andresen; six brothers: Louie, Dick, Jerry, Tom, Jim, and Don Veith; and 3 sisters: Pat Attebury, Dorothy Adian, and Nancy Drexler.

A service celebrating the life of Sally will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 23rd at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 AM.  Following the service, a luncheon will be served at the Old 41 Saloon, 293 S. Green Bay Rd. in Neenah.
