LORRAINE TATRO

Lorraine Alice Tatro (nee Kiesow), age 91, went to her Heavenly Home surrounded by family on Sunday, August 21, 2016. She was born on October 12, 1924 in Neenah, WI; daughter of the late Ervin and Emma (Mueller) Kiesow.

On October 11, 1947, she married Dan Tatro at Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah. They were married for 66 years and had two children, Dianne and Terry.

Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Neenah and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a member of the church choir for over 40 years in addition to being a soloist, and received many compliments on her singing. Lorraine was also an officer and member of the Christian Women's Circle at Trinity. She enjoyed painting ceramics and created beautiful keepsakes for her loved ones. Dan and Lorraine belonged to Merry Makers Dance Club and a Square Dancing Club. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a great love for her family and her faith.

Lorraine will be deeply missed by her children: Dianne (Larry) Niemuth, and Terry Tatro; grandchildren: Lisa (Todd) Kelly, and Paula (Jason) Flanner; great-grandchildren: Erica (Greg) Suchyta; Marissa Soufal; and Logan and Lily Flanner; brother, Gerald Kiesow; sister-in-law, Peg Tatro; nieces: Juliann Plutz; Sharon (Mike) Losselyong; and Susan Tatro; nephew, Louis (Tammy) Tatro; and family friend, Jim Groth. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dan.

A funeral service for Lorraine will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak Street, Neenah with the Rev. D.J. Engelbrecht officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
