Obituary
Joan Yvonne Brown, age 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 24 2022, surrounded by family. Joan was born January 17, 1941, daughter of Cyril and Freda Voit.
Joan graduated from Menasha High School in 1959, and retired from Appleton Medical Center.
Joan enjoyed going up north snowmobiling with friends and family, fishing on Lake Michigan, boating and was a long time Badger and Packer fan.
Survivors include her sons: Bob (Leanne) Mayer, Kurt (Katie) Mayer; her nephew, Dan (Robbie) Endter; granddaughters: Annee Heupenbecker, Maysun Rosenthal and Maren Mayer; great nephews, Derek and Kyle Endter; Step-son, Don (Judy) Brown; and step son-in-law, Marve Kasten.
Joan was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Phil Brown; sister, Judith Tesch; brother-in-law, Dan Endter; and step-daughter, Bonnie Kasten.
At Joan's request, there will be no funeral service. A private burial will take place with family at a later date. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Heartland Hospice and the staff at Emerald Ridge Assisted living - they made her life a lot more comfortable.
